Prvá časť nominácii na Oscara je konečne vonku. Klasicky by sme už nominácie poznali niekoľko týždňov, tento rok sa „vďaka“ pandémii tešíme iba prvým ohláseným nomináciám. Ani tie ešte nie sú finálne. Akadémia zverejnila postupujúcich do druhého kola nominácií v deviatich kategóriách. Mnohé odhady na naše lokálne potešenie správne predpokladali prítomnosť česko-slovensko-írsko-poľskej koprodukcie "Šarlatán" v 15-ke nominovaných na Najlepší medzinárodný film.
Okrem neho sme sa dozvedeli aj to, ktoré snímky či filmári sa môžu pobiť o sošku v kategóriách ako Najlepšie kostýmy či Najlepšia hudba. Ďalšia porcia nominácii a aj finálni nominovaní budú známi 5. marca, slávnostný galavečer sa uskutoční 25. apríla.
